I have just received some new Australian charms. 2 Kookaburras, a shark, a tiny koala and a cute echidna, sitting right in the middle. Echidnas are also called 'spiny ant-eaters' and I so wish I had a one on my property. Echidnas are the oldest surviving mammal on the planet.
All these charms are hand-cast right here in Australia. They are made with premium quality pewter and nicely polished. I like to team up the pewter pieces with stainless steel components. That way, you will get high quality pieces (no plating coming off, hardly any tarnish etc.) at a fraction of the price it would cost you in sterling silver.
