Sea Glass is the name for small glass pieces recovered from the ocean. It takes 8-10 years of constant exposure to salt water and sand to turn the shiny glass fragments into beautifully matte sea glass.
Not a lot of sea glass pieces can be recovered from the ocean which are suitable for jewellery.
The famous Czech Republic glass manufactures have decided to offer glass beads with the treasured matte finish to offer the look of sea glass with the quality of Czech glass (durable strength and finish, high quality colours).
