Australian Opal Necklace, Sterling Silver 925

This is a beautiful genuine Australian opal pendant, wire wrapped to a genuine sterling silver necklace.

The opal is a doublet. This is the name for precious opals that are attached to black potch (colourless opal). This increases the strength of the opal and also makes it more affordable. 

The drop I used for this necklace is quite a large size, measuring 19mm, 3/4 of an inch in length.

All wire and the necklace are solid sterling silver, length is 45cm, 18 inches.
