Unique Earrings with large, matte Carnelian

These earrings are quite striking. I combined large, 14mm matte spheres of genuine, earth mined Carnelian and added bright 22K Vermeil fittings as a gorgeous contrast.

Vermeil is a metal made out of solid sterling silver with a substantial layer of genuine 22K gold. It has a wonderful rich high carat gold colour at an affordable price. Even though the price is very affordable compared to solid gold, it is of course more expensive than all gold plated/finished items. Those usually have a thinner, lower carat plating over brass or copper and not sterling silver.

Total length of these earrings is 4cm, 1 1/2 inches.
